FOLLOWING a number of the non-clinical staff at Hilary Cottage Surgery in Fairford having tested positive for Covid-19 last week, they are now isolating at home along with their close contacts.

Working with Public Health England and NHS Gloucestershire CCG, the surgery is now prioritising the most urgent clinical needs of the patients and ask that you do not contact the surgery if the matter is not urgent.

The surgery is open as normal and, if you have a pre-booked appointment or need to collect your medication from dispensary, it is safe for you to attend.

The surgery has been advised that the correct infection control and PPE measures have been followed and the risk to patients attending the surgery is low.

If you wish to cancel and re-arrange your appointment, you can do so if you wish.

The surgery is taking each day at a time and advises that it may take a little longer for them to answer telephone calls during this time, so please bear with them as they try to maintain the best service they can.

You can contact the practice via fairfordsurgery.co.uk, which will be kept regularly updated.
