M4: Shkelqim Selba, 49, of Cheney Manor Road, was fined £883 and ordered to pay £198 in costs and surcharge after he admitted speeding in a personalised-numberplate BMW M50 D on the motorway on October 15 last year. He was given six points.

M4: Mehmet Aksoy, 37, of Durham Road, Newport, pleaded guilty to speeding in a VW Golf on the M4 on October 9 last year, while he had three children in the back none of whom were wearing seatbelts. He was fined £660, banned from the roads for four months and ordered to pay £176 in costs and surcharge.

M4: Grace Mander, 25, of Oldland Common, South Gloucestershire, admitted speeding in a BMW 118 on the motorway on Christmas Day. She was banned from driving for 28 days, fined £346 and ordered to pay £110 costs and a £35 victim surcharge.

TADPOLE GARDEN VILLAGE: Kerry-Ann Perring, 27, of Faulkner Road, admitted driving a Ford Focus without insurance on October 9 last year and without a licence allowing her to drive the vehicle. She was given six points but magistrates stopped short of banning her under totting rules after hearing about the impact it would have on her children. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £142 in costs and surcharge.

RUSHY PLATT: Daine Gooden, 31, of Gold View, admitted speeding in a BMW X3 on Great Western Way on April 2 this year. He was fined £76, banned from driving for two weeks and ordered to pay £142 in costs and surcharge.

M4: Paul Tirtu, 25, of Rolleston Street, was found guilty of speeding in his BMW 530 on the M4 on March 22 this year. He was fined £440, banned from driving for 56 days and ordered to pay £154 in costs and surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Andrew Bowes, 44, of Brunel Way, Calne, pleaded guilty to sexual communication with a child, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and possession of indecent images of children. He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court for sentence on December 4. He must register with the police as a sex offender.

POLICE: Wiltshire Police was granted six months to retain £3,197 seized from Mervyn Willis, of Stratton Road, as the suspected proceeds of criminal activity.

PENHILL: Reece Chambers, 21, of Ramsbury Avenue, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable and resisting arrest on January 19 and assaulting a police officer on August 26. He was given a 12 month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work. Chambers must pay £150 compensation, £85 costs and a £95 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Ibrar Ahmed, 25, of Cumberland Road, pleaded guilty to bailing to provide a specimen of blood on February 13 this year, driving a Mercedes E22 on Marlowe Avenue without insurance or a licence. He was fined £500, banned from driving for 20 months and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

UPPER STRATTON: Stephen Gray, 31, of Cloche Way, admitted failing to provide a blood specimen to police on April 17 and May 15. He was fined £1233, banned from the roads for 20 months and ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £133 victim surcharge.

TOOTHILL: Samantha Baker, 28, of Ely Close, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol from Sainsbury on July 1, 2019. She was fined £40 and must pay a £32 victim surcharge, although these were deemed paid by time served.

PARK SOUTH: Magistrates granted a three month closure order on the house of John Camac, 54, in Studland Close.

SWINDON: Jason Baker, 23, of Colbert Park, pleaded guilty to damaging a Nissan Micra and assaulting its owner on November 2 last year. He also admitted assaulting a woman on the same day and damaging a door in Cricklade on July 11 this year. He was given an 18 month community order, must complete 80 hours of unpaid work, a thinking skills course and up to 10 rehabilitation activity days. He must pay a total of 1,983 in compensation.

SWINDON: Paul Byrne, 52, of Chandler Close, pleaded guilty to breaching a community protection notice banning him from going to a house in Somerville Road. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

TOWN CENTRE: Joshua Rayalo, 20, of Middlemead, Cirencester, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Bridge Street, Swindon, on February 29. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

SWINDON: John Morgan, 53, of Inglesham Road, admitted taking a Ford Transit without the owner’s consent on February 14 this year and driving it on Great Western Way while he was uninsured and did not have a licence allowing him to get behind the wheel. He must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12 months community order and pay £175 in costs and surcharge. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
