BOSSES at an equine rescue charity are to take all of their festive season events online this year, in a bid to continue raising vital funds through the pandemic.
Online wreath making workshops, pony care classes and a tack auction are among some of the sessions to look forward to, as HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association) in Burnley look to find away to carry out some of their Christmas fundraising.
Normally the equine rehabilitation centre would be welcoming people through the doors with a whole host of festive activities, however the coronavirus pandemic has put a stop to that this year.
In place of actual events, several virtual online sessions are to help horse and pony lovers get in the festive spirit - with Father Christmas himself ready to make a guest appearance. To find out more about the events, visit happa.org.uk or call 01282 455 992.
