The Sainsbury's logo has disappeared from the Brunel Shopping Centre after half a century.
The supermarket closed earlier this month with the company saying it was a national decision rather than a local response.
Signage still remains telling shoppers where the nearest Sainsbury's store is but the main logo has vanished from above the entrance.
It is not known how many jobs were lost or what might be replacing the supermarket.
In August, a statement from Sainsbury’s said: “We have updated colleagues on the difficult decision to close our Swindon superstore in November and we are doing everything we can to find alternative roles for those affected.
“Customers can continue to shop with us a short drive away at our Bridgemead and Stratton stores, as well as the new Tadpole Garden Village store.”
