A MAN accused of setting a Chippenham flat on fire will face a crown court judge later this month.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning, Kristian Cleverley, 32, of Moyne Close, Devizes, entered no pleas to a charge of arson with intent to endanger life.
It is said he started the fire that destroyed a Sovereign Housing flat in Charter Road, Chippenham, on September 22.
Magistrates remanded him in custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on December 23 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
