Mourners lined the road ahead of the funeral of Graham 'Tommy' Trinder.
The 57-year-old was shot dead by an armed police officer outside his home in Rodbourne in November. An investigation into the dad-of-two's death by police watchdog the Independent Office for Police Conduct continues.
Mr Trinder's funeral was held at the North Wiltshire Crematorium, near Royal Wootton Bassett, on Tuesday afternoon.
Friends and well-wishers lined the road approaching the crematorium, watching as a hearse carrying Mr Trinder's body drove by.
St Augustine's church, Summers Street, on the same road as the fatal shooting, opened its doors on Tuesday for private prayer and reflection.
