Near Marlborough, Savernake Forest will stay open through the new lockdown.
The 4,500 acre Savernake Forest is the only privately-owned forest in Britain.
It shut for a day on January 4 to maintain its private status.
Lord Cardigan said: "In the first Lockdown various misguided groups - including Wiltshire Police - wrongly tried to stop people using the Forest for exercise, even though the Prime Minister had made it very clear that exercise WAS to be permitted throughout the Lockdown, provided people were not driving long distances for this.
"The key word in the regulations seems to be 'local', and certainly Savernake Forest is very local to Marlborough. Accordingly we will be keeping the Forest open for local people throughout the Lockdown".
