A man has been arrested after a two-car crash this afternoon.
Lanes leading to Commonhead Roundabout were shut by police because of the position of the vehicles involved and the need to free one person from a car.
Officers rushed to the scene at 12.30pm, with one of the drivers left trapped.
A woman was released from the car taken to the Great Western Hospital but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving offences.
Wiltshire Police has said firefighters and ambulances are also in attendance and diversions are in place.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the Commonhead Roundabout around 1230pm today.
"Due to the position of the vehicles, and the need to remove one driver from their car due to being medically trapped, we have shut lanes leading to the roundabout and diversions for traffic have been out in place.
"The incident is currently ongoing. We have fire, ambulance and police on scene."
