Pupils at Kennet Valley Primary School in Lockeridge have been wearing their pyjamas to school.

In the first of what they are calling 'themed Fridays' the children kept their PJs on for class - whether they were working at school or at home.

Future themed days planned will include a mad hair day, Christmas in January day, superhero day, fancy dressed day and many more.

Miss Chalker, who teaches Year 6 said: “We wanted to add more fun to our children’s lives during these tricky times”.

Throughout the day children uploaded pictures of themselves working in their PJs.

They also showed off their pyjamas when they took part in their live daily check in with their class teachers.

Emma Russell, Headteacher said: “We miss all of the children who are working from home, but speak to them daily to make sure that they know how important they are to our school.

"I can’t wait for Mad Hair Day next week!”
