STUCKEY Frederick William 'Bill' Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep on 5th January 2021, aged 95 years. A railway man for 35 years then businessman of Highworth until retirement. He was a lovely man with a great and witty sense of humour, still playing piano on his 95th birthday in October, much loved by his 'girls' Ann, Jill and Janette. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all of whom he was so proud. Huge thanks to all at Stanton Lodge for their wonderful care and attention to Bill, and for the laughs, we know he will be missed by staff and residents alike. Due to current lockdown restrictions we regret it will be a private family service and burial at Highworth Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife of an amazing 71 years, Phyllis.

ANDERSON Marie Died aged 90 on January 10th. Marie was born in Belfast. She lived in Uffington, Stanford and Faringdon. Marie lived in Highworth for 40 years. She was the widow of Tom Anderson, cousin to Sheelagh, step-mother to Alma and Brian. Friend to Pauline and John Burren for over 60 years. Marie loved cats, scrabble, walking and reading. Sadly for the last 7 years she suffered from dementia. We wish to thank her carers, Catherine Kirwan, Jo O'Donoghue and Rachel Roberts who were not only carers but true friends and the people of Highworth.
