MOURNERS lined the streets of Royal Wootton Bassett as former mayor and firefighter Chris Wannell was laid to rest.
Chris died aged 79 following a short illness and is known for his fundraising efforts for The Fire Fighters Charity.
Pictures from the Adver's photographer Dave Cox show the send-off he was given as his favourite engine Martha led a cortege of vintage vehicles along the high street.
