A PINEHURST man has been remanded over allegations he attacked another man on Thursday
Gerald Lee, 56, is said by prosecutors to have assaulted the other man, leaving the complainant with three or four wounds to the head.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning, Lee, of The Circle, Pinehurst, entered no pleas to a single charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. The charge is indictable only, meaning a plea can only be taken at the crown court.
Bearded Lee, who appeared in the dock wearing a pair of grey tracksuit trousers and a grey-and-burgundy top, spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
Chairman of the bench Alison Auvray told Lee he would be remanded into custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on March 26 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
