One of Swindon's leisure centres has been playing host to an Olympian athlete during training for Dancing on Ice.
Silver medal-winner Colin Jackson has been training at the Link Centre ice rink in preparation for his appearances on the show.
Clips from the programme reveal Colin training with partner Klabera Komini at the centre in preparation for last weekend’s movie night.
He skated into the semi-final after getting the joint-highest score of the series with his disco-themed performance to You Should Be Dancing from Saturday Night Fever.
After his series-best performance, Colin, who won his medal in the men's 110m hurdles at the Seoul Games in 1998, said: “I never thought I could do disco dancing like that, I had a thoroughly enjoyable time, all I did was smile my way through the routine.”
And the judges were equally impressed with his efforts.
Judge and actor John Barrowman, who gave the duo a 9.5 out of 10, said: “This is what we’ve been waiting for from you, this was amazing.
“You took us back to the 80s, there were so many disco references in there, it was polished, it was clean, it was disco fabulous.”
The ITV show has had a rocky season so far and had to take a week's break during the series because of coronavirus and injuries.
Emmerdale star Joe-Warren Plant and comedian Rufus Hound both had to withdraw after testing positive for Covid, while reality TV star Billie Shepherd, singer and actress Denise Van Outen and Jason Donovan all had to pull out of the series due to injury.
ITV has decided to move the final a week forward.
