FEWER than two dozen new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Swindon.
Between 9am on Friday and 9am on Saturday, the borough recorded 21 positive test results.
In the last seven days, there have been 159 new cases in the area - which is 99 fewer than the week before, a 38 per cent drop.
As of March 1, Swindon's rate of infection has decreased to 83.3 cases per 100,000 population.
Across the UK, there were 6,040 new Covid-19 cases and 158 new deaths recorded.
