JUST 10 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Swindon within 24 hours.
In the seven days, 84 new positive Covid-19 test results were recorded in the borough, which is 66 fewer than the week before - a drop of 44 per cent.
Swindon's infection rate stands, as of April 2, at 54 cases per 100,000 population.
Between 9am on Tuesday and 9am on Wednesday, the UK recorded 2,763 new coronavirus cases and 45 new deaths of people who tested positive for Covid-19.
