SWINDON: Ryan Hammond, 23, of Malmesbury Gardens, pleaded guilty to fraud by false representation by pretending to sell a motorised scooter in Swindon last August intending to make a gain of £225. He was bailed and will be sentenced later in the year, to tie up with other cases.

LIDEN: Jake Lewis, 25, of Barrington Close, pleaded guilty to stealing a £4,040 mountain bike. He was given a community order with a 10 week curfew and must pay £750 compensation.

PENHILL: Marlon Livingstone, 35, of Canterbury Road, London, admitted driving a Ford Transit with a defective brake light and failed to cooperate with a roadside drugs test. He was banned from driving for six months, fined £40 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

CRICKLADE: Karl Hegarty , 41, of Parsonage Farm, pleaded guilty to committing a public nuisance on October 7, 2019, by indecently exposing himself. He was fined £600 and ordered to pay £145 in costs and surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Two men will appear before Swindon Crown Court later this month accused of raiding an ATM machine in Marlborough.

Dean Hacker, 32, of Stockwood, Bristol, and Harry Thomas, 24, of Brislington, Bristol, appeared before the magistrates court charged with stealing £17,320 cash from Cardtronics and damaging an ATM machine worth £10,500 belonging to the same firm on April 30, 2020.

Hacker entered no pleas. Thomas indicated guilty pleas to both charges.

The case was sent to Swindon Crown Court on April 23 for a preparatory hearing.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Elizabeth Eastgate, 73, of Brinkworth Road, admitted driving a VW Polo on Wootton Bassett High Street without due care and attention and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

She was fined £130, given five penalty points and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

CHISELDON: Chauncay Hocking, 30, of Osier Close, Portsmouth, was fined £120 and banned from driving for three years after he pleaded guilty to being more than three times the cannabis drug driving limit. He was caught driving a Citroen Berlingo on the A346 on June 16 last year. He must pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Simon Slone, 48, of Alton, Hampshire, pleaded guilty to hunting with dogs and Collingbourne Dulcis on December 20, 2019, and entering land in a Subaru Forester for the purposes of taking game at night. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Ian Gullick, 59, of Showfield, admitted assaulting an emergency care worker in December 2019. He must pay £80 compensation. He also pleaded guilty to a charge of threatening behaviour and was fined £240, given a two year community order with 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days and ordered to pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

GORSE HILL: Jason Murray, 29, of Chapel Street, who according to the court record is also known by the alias “Little Man”, pleaded guilty to stealing £1,400-worth of DVDs from Asda stores in Stockton on Tees and Hartlepool. He was given a 12 month community order with a requirement to do the thinking skills programme and must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

MOREDON: Andrew Llewellyn, 31, of Moredon Road, was fined £80 for being drunk and disorderly in Cricklade Road last December and possession of 2.3g of amphetamine. He must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

LIDDINGTON: Jocelyn Drew, 21, of Manton Hollow, Marlborough, admitted being over the cannabis drug driving limit while behind the wheel of a Renault Clio on the B4192, Liddington, on July 23, 2020. She was fined £300, banned from the roads for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

OLD TOWN: Marissa Toal, 44, of Victoria Road, pleaded guilty to failing to stop after causing an accident on Beech Avenue, Pinehurst, in her Fiat 500 last August and driving carelessly. She was fined £70, given six points and must pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Timothy Cadby, 41, of Rylands Way, was fined £120 for failing to surrender in February and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge. The prosecutor withdrew the substantive offence of being in possession of two long kitchen knives in Bincknoll Lane on October 9, 2020.

PINEHURST: Stuart Wade, 39, of Whitworth Road, was given a six month conditional discharge after he admitted possession of cannabis. He was told to pay £57 in costs and surcharge.
