A CANNABIS factory was raided by police last night.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that a number of cannabis plants were found in the Eastcott Hill property.

Neighbours said officers rammed the door of the terraced house on Wednesday evening.

The electricity board were seen at the property overnight, with safety barriers currently fencing off exposed electricity cables at the front of the house.

“We appreciate the intelligence from people living in the area and would ask anyone who suspects illegal drug use or supply in their local neighbourhood to call us on 101 or report it via our website.”

No arrests have been made.

One neighbour described seeing around three men outside the rented property several months ago, digging in the same spot where the exposed cabling could be seen on Thursday afternoon.
