SWINDON: Benjamin Chandler, 31, of Great Somerford, was found guilty of driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, failing to stop for police and failing to stop after hitting a pedestrian barrier last August. He admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath.

Magistrates sentenced him to 16 weeks imprisonment suspended for a year and a half. He must do 150 hours of unpaid work and he was banned from the roads for three years. Chandler must pay £195 in costs and surcharge.

FERNDALE: Daniel Goswell, 40, of Cherry Grove, Reading, admitted drug driving a BMW in Ferndale Road last September. He was fined £700, ordered to pay £155 in costs and surcharge and banned from driving for a year and a half.

REDHOUSE: Jason Slip, 29, of Brean Road, admitted causing or inciting a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity. He was given a three year community order as well as a four month prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to complete the sex offender rehabilitation programme.

He must register as a sex offender for seven years and was ordered to pay £213 in costs and surcharge.

M4: Rivjalt Hoxha, 27, of Greenleaze, Bristol, was fined £800, ordered to pay £165 in costs and surcharge and banned from driving for a year after he admitted driving a BMW on the M4 without a licence or insurance.

WEST SWINDON: Hugh Powell, 23, of Saddleback Road, pleaded guilty to drink driving a BMW on the A419 on December 30 last year. He was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £750 and told to pay £160 in costs and surcharge.

LYNEHAM: Samuel Sealey, 33, of Hillside View, Bath, was fined £120 after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable in Lyneham on New Year’s Day, 2021. He must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

NYTHE: Stephen King, 38, of Blakeney Avenue, admitted drug driving a Honda CBR last February and was found guilty of driving without due care and attention. He was fined £162, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

SWINDON: Arkadiusz Wanczyk, 38, of Highfield, Chippenham, was given 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months after he pleaded guilty to driving a Citroen Relay on Great Western Way on April 1 while disqualified. He must do 150 hours of unpaid work, was banned from driving for 18 months and was ordered to pay £213 in costs and surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Mitchell Reynolds, 21, of HMP Lewes, admitted making a grossly offensive video call to a probation officer in Erlestoke. He was given a four week prison sentence and ordered to pay £213 in costs and surcharge.

CRICKLADE: Rachel Barnes, 36, of Gas Lane, pleaded guilty to drink driving an Audi A3 in Faringdon on March 10 and drink driving the same car on the A420 on April 1. She was banned from the roads for 20 months, fined £240 and ordered to pay £120 in costs and surcharge.

SWINDON: Colin Jones, 56, of Greenhill Drive, Gloucester, was sent to the crown court for sentence after he admitted possession of indecent images of children. He had 201 images in category A, 121 in category B and 628 images in category C.

He was ordered to register as a sex offender and bailed to attend Swindon Crown Court on May 7.

TOWN CENTRE: Stephen Soar, 52, of Lincoln Street, pleaded guilty to making 31 pseudo-photographs of children in categories A to C. He had 1,321 images in category C.

He was ordered to register as a sex offender and was bailed to be sentenced at Swindon Crown Court on May 7.

COVINGHAM: Russell Hamilton, 46, of Lilypad Street, admitted driving a Ford Mondeo last July while over the drug driving limit. He was banned from driving for a year, fined £120 and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

OLD TOWN: Aidan Breski, 23, of Bath Road, was fined £120 and given a 16 month driving disqualification after he admitted drink driving. He must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

TAW HILL: James Farmer, 24, of Melstock Road, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. He was fined £81 and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
