DETECTIVES are continuing to investigate the alleged murder of a man in Liden eight months ago.
James Wheaton, 44, died at his flat in Galsworthy Close in October last year.
In the wake of his death, two men – both in their 30s – were arrested on suspicious of his murder by Wiltshire Police’s major investigations team. They were later released under investigation.
A spokesman for the force said last night that the investigation into the death was continuing.
In the wake of Mr Wheaton’s death, mum June paid tribute to the “kind hearted” man. She told the Adver: “I will remember him with fond memories.
“His nickname was ‘smiley’; he was always smiling. He would do anything for anybody. He had a kind heart."
