POLICE arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of dealing drugs in West Swindon and money laundering.
Officers responded to a call from a concerned member of the public at around 3pm on Monday.
The caller reported a man acting suspiciously near Peatmoor Lake.
Police arrived at the scene then stopped and searched a suspect.
The suspect had £625 in cash on him and no reasonable explanation as to how he got the money.
The 24-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and money laundering.
He was then taken into custody at Gablecross Police Station.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "If you suspect drug dealing or any other other criminal activity, please call us on 101.
"In an emergency, always call 999."
