FIVE new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Swindon within 24 hours.
In the last seven days, there have been 35 positive Covid-19 test results recorded around the borough.
This is four more than the week before, which equates to a slight rise of 12.9 per cent.
Swindon's infection rate as of May 26 is 12.2 cases per 100,000 population.
One new death of a patient who tested positive for coronavirus within the last 28 days has been recorded. The pandemic's total death toll is 127,782 according to the government's figures.
A further 3,383 new cases were recorded around the UK between 9am on Sunday and 9am today.
A further 120,243 people have received their first coronavirus vaccine jab while another 204,282 people received their second.
