REDHOUSE: Lukas Karulaitis, 22, of Willington Road has been fined £300 after pleading guilty to driving a BMW without insurance or a valid licence.

He drove along Botley Copse on March 31 2020 and received eight points on his licence for doing so. He must pay £110 in court costs plus £34 to victim services.

PARK SOUTH: Kyle Patrick Menham, 21, of Thornbridge Avenue was fined £660 and must pay £90 in court costs plus £60 in victim services.

A charge of failing to give information to police on March 19 2020 about the rider of a Yamaha Motorcycle who was allegedly guilty of an offence was proven in his absence.

Menham had six points added to his driving licence.

HAYDON WICK: Nicholas Trueman, 33, of Orwell Close, pleaded guilty to driving a Seat Ibiza at more than the 30mph speed limit on Barnfield Road on April 5 2020.

He received a £100 fine and three points on his driving licence, and must pay £110 in court costs as well as £34 to victim services.

TOOTHILL: Sheila Goodenough, 53, of Longthorpe Close pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Mondeo above the 30mph speed limit on Bridge End Road on May 21 2020.

She received a £250 and was disqualified from driving for seven days.

Goodenough must pay £110 in court costs plus £34 to victim services.

SWINDON: A driver who raced along the M4 near Swindon at more than 70mph has been fined £250.

Mohamad Maqsood, 29, of Selbrooke Crescent in Bristol pleaded guilty after being caught speeding on July 20 2020.

He received six points on his driving licence and must pay £110 in court costs plus £34 to victim services.

CHENEY MANOR: Richard James Weavers pleaded not guilty to an assault charge and has elected a trial by jury which will begin at Swindon Crown Court on July 7.

The 60-year-old is accused of beating a police officer on March 5 2021.

He must remain at his home address of Cheney Manor Road until his next court appearance.

Separately, Mr Weavers pleaded not guilty to being drunk and disorderly at Great Western Hospital on June 5 2021.

For this trial, he has been remanded on bail until December 9 2021, when he will appear at Swindon Magistrates Court.

CHIPPENHAM: Lee Thornell, 43, of Burley Grove in Mangotsfield pleaded guilty when he appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court to driving while using a mobile phone.

He drove a Toyota Aygo along Station Road at the time of the offence on April 19 2020 and received six points on his driving licence as well as a £64 fine.

Thornell must pay £110 in costs plus £34 to victim services.

WINTERBOURNE STOKE: Vasile Morar, 37, of Yorkshire Gardens in Edmonton pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Transit faster than the 40mph speed limit on the A303 in Winterbourne Stoke on June 2 2020.

He received an £80 fine and six points on his driving licence, and must pay £90 in court costs plus £34 to victim services.

SALISBURY: Christian Weihs of West Hyde Lane in Buckinghamshire pleaded guilty to driving a Land Rover Discovery above the 70mph speed limit of the A303 in Cholderton ear Salisbury on June 8 2020.

He received five points on his driving licence and a £300 fine, and must pay £110 in costs plus £34 to victim services.

MELKSHAM: Thomas Preston, 37, of Osprey Close in Bowerhill changed his not guilty plea to guilty in regards to a charge of losing control of a Mercedes while driving along the A350 on June 10 2020.

He received a £672 fine and three points on his driving licence, and must pay £110 in court costs plus £67 to victim services.
