BOYBAND East 17 will headline the Swindon and Wiltshire Pride festival next month.
The event will return to the Town Gardens on August 7 and the Stay Another Day hitmakers will be top of the lineup, along with Veronica Green from season two of Drag Race UK
Veronica is a musical theatre star and singer who starred in many productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat before her time on the competition reality show.
Swindon and Wiltshire Pride chairperson Jo Sharpe said: “This continues to be a free event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and is sure to be a fun-filled day of pride, rainbows and entertainment.
“The day will be one to remember with a family circus zone, shopping stalls, art and craft zone and so much more.
“None of this would be possible without our main sponsor Nationwide Building Society along with our other sponsors, our amazing volunteers, local artists and the hard work of the event committee.”
There will be no parade. The event will start at midday and last until10.20pm, then the party continues at the Level 3 nightclub – tickets to that are available on the Pride website.
Contactless payments are encouraged and anyone with coronavirus symptoms should stay home for safety reasons.
