BLUNSDON: A traffic order (reference STR000209) is being introduced to allow highway agreement works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on the B4019 at Blunsdon at the junction with the A419 between Holdcroft House and Hills Development Site.

Traffic to be diverted via A419 and A361 Highworth Road. The order will come into force on August 2 and it is expected works will take place from then to August 13.

BLUNSDON: Several traffic orders are being introduced to allow for the installation of a new water main trunk from Highworth to Blunsdon.

The first (reference STR000198) will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the Hannington to Blunsdon footpath from the B4019 to Bridleway 13, Hannington.

The second (reference STR999199) will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the public right of way footpath 8 in Blunsdon which leads to PROW FP8 Stanton Fitzwarren, situated off the B4019 to Mill Lane.

The third (reference STR000196) will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the Stapler's Lane Bridleway between Queens Road and Public Bridleway 13 Hannington.

The fourth (reference STR000197will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the Stapler's Lane Bridleway between B4019 and Staplers Lane Public Bridleway 7 Hannington.

These four orders will come into force on August 5 for six months. Due to health and safety reasons, no alternative routes can be given.

RODBOURNE: Excavation and installation works for a fibre communication network and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Bruce Street from the rear of No's 65 to 104.

The order (reference STR999219) will come into force on August 19 and the works are expected to last until September 3.

LAWN: Carriageway patching will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Windsor Road between property no's 29 and 46.

Traffic to be diverted via Sandringham Road. The order (reference STRDDD212) will come into force on July 26 and work will be carried out over two days.

OLD TOWN: An application has been made to the licensing authority for Swindon for the grant of a premises licence by Central Swindon South Parish Council in respect of the Town Gardens.

The application seeks to supply alcohol and host performances of plays, boxing, wrestling, live or recorded music, and dance routines from 10am to 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday and 10am to 11pm Friday and Saturday.

The full application may be inspected at the Offices of the Licensing Authority, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler West Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Responsible authorities, and/or other persons (e.g. people/businesses living or working within the vicinity), can make representations at any time between June 30 and July 272021.

STRATTON: Rohul Amin applied for a premises licence for the Off Licence Convenience Store on 101 Stratton Road. He seeks to sell alcohol from7.30am to 9pm seven days a week.
