A CLINIC in Swindon has tripled in size over lockdown.

Nurse practitioner Anna Kremerov set up Anna Medical Aesthetics in 2017 to provide treatments for patients and enhance women's health.

When the pandemic hit, Anna briefly returned to her old job working at the intensive care unit at Great Western Hospital to care for patients with Covid-19.

She said: "Returning to my roots at the height of the pandemic was a natural step for me. I was honoured to work with so many of my old colleagues who answered the call from the NHS to help during the peak.”

While she was at GWH, building work began on her new clinic in Dorcan which is three times the size of her old one and received Swindon’s first Care Quality Commission registration for facial aesthetics,

Anna said: “The business had grown and developed rapidly, and it became clear that a larger establishment would enable us to offer more, both to our existing and new patients.

"While lockdown was undoubtedly a challenging time to be undertaking the necessary building work on a new premises, we are delighted with the final result, which is not only aesthetically stunning, but offers exceptional levels of safety to patients.”

Clinic patient Susan Baldock has been living with Bells Palsy for the past 19 years.

She said: “It has completely affected one side of my face, leaving me with severe asymmetry. I’ve seen countless people for treatment throughout the years, but Anna was the first person who I felt ever really listened to my concerns, my needs.

"I had almost no confidence, I couldn’t look people in the eye, and when I spoke, I talked with my hand over my mouth. The Botox treatment changed my life. She is amazing. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I have complete trust in her.”

Anna added: “Our new building has allowed us to offer patients and even greater level of safety in light of Covid-19. Every room of the new clinic has been fitted to the highest possible standards, and include state-of-the-art air purifying systems which inhibit 99.99% of airborne viruses and bacteria."

The new clinic offers a range of treatments including anti-aging injections, dermal fillers, lip augmentations and medical grade skincare.

Anna claims patients travel from as far away as Italy for the procedures.

Another of Anna’s patients, Hannah, added: "As a result of a very stressful year I had lost quite a bit of weight, leaving me looking tired and gaunt.

"I knew I didn’t want to have a surgical treatment Anna recommended a non-surgical liquid facelift using a collagen stimulating dermal filler called Ellanse would treat my whole face, rather than just focussing on one area of concern, and would produce a more natural looking outcome.

"Treatment with her was calming, she was the height of professionalism, and the results she delivered blew me away."
