Swindon Borough Council has announced resurfacing work on Thamesdown Drive is almost finished.
In a social media post, the council added: "There will be a few minor temporary lane closures over the next few weeks to make some final adjustments to manholes but once that work is finished the scheme will be complete"
The council also included a video of the road resurfacing work as part of its social media announcement, showing crews working overnight.
This will be welcome news for Swindon residents who have been growing more and more frustrated with the number of ongoing roadworks around the town.
Yesterday Swindon Borough Council announced that White Hart roundabout would be closed for months to repair 'significant defects'.
