PEOPLE can keep in fighting fit shape over the summer with weekly mixed martial arts fused aerobics.
The 60-minute session of classes combine aerobics with MMA movements and sessions are held from 6pm at Watchfield Village Hall on Wednesdays and St Michael’s Hall in Highworth on Mondays.
Zorro Fitness holds the group fight classes and instructor Jason Carlsen spoke about the benefits of the weekly programmes.
He said: “It’s unlike regular aerobics, you can use fight combinations and fight that imaginary opponent, it’s a great stress relief.
“Everybody seems to have someone in their life that is getting them stressed out and it’s just a way of getting rid of all of that frustration and feeling relieved and brilliant afterwards.
“It builds confidence and I really wanted to bring this into the community.
“I’ve had people hooked already, it’s quite an addictive class.
“You might be a bit confused to start with but keep coming and you’ll know the terminology of moves and you’ll then be able to build on that because it’s suitable for everyone It’s a 60-minute workout which builds cardiovascular health, total body conditioning and strength.”
