A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life after a flat fire in Liden.
Police rushed to the scene in the early hours of this morning while firefighters tackled the blaze on the second floor of a block of flats in Cromer Court.
Two residents were treated for smoke inhalation and a number of residents had to be evacuated as a precaution.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “There were no other reported casualties and residents have been able to return to their homes.”
The suspect was arrested shortly after the incident and is currently in police custody.
A spokesperson for Ramsbury Fire Station said: "Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets and the occupants were cared for by the ambulance service."
