Fans of comedian and actor Ben Miller will be in for a treat if they travel just a few miles up the A419 to Cirencester.
The star of Death in Paradise and new Channel 4 series Professor T is the voice of the new multimedia audio guides that visitors to the Corinium Museum can use to help them round the exhibits.
Museum director Amanda Hart said: “Thank you to Ben for giving his precious time amongst a very busy schedule. It is the icing on the cake following the reimagination of Corinium Museum and the £1.87 million investment from the National Lottery Heritage Fund money, donations, and sponsorships.”
The audio guide will take visitors through he archaeology of the Cotswolds in a new immersive exhibit is that are now fully open and also some bronze age artefacts on loan from the British Museum which have never been seen in this area before and the Roman Cirencester display – with treasures from Roman Britain’s second city.
