HIGHWORTH: An application has been made to the licensing authority for Swindon for the grant of a premises licence by Salams Restaurant Ltd in respect of 30 High Street.

The application seeks the following licensable activities and times: late night refreshment and retail sale of alcohol Monday to Sunday from 11.30am to 2am.

HAYDON WICK: An application has been made to the licensing authority for Swindon by Haydon Wick Working Men's Club Limited to vary the club premises certificate issued in respect of 10 Blunsdon Road.

The application seeks the following variation in licensable activities:

Indoor sporting events from midday to midnight on weekdays and 10am to midnight on weekends, live music from midday to midnight Sunday to Thursday, and midday to 1am on Friday and Saturday, play recorded music from 10am to midnight Monday to Sunday , and supply alcohol from 10am to midnight Sunday to Thursday and 10am to 1am on Friday and Saturday.

On Good Friday, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve, the times for these activities would change and they would be carried out between 10am and 1am.

Responsible authorities (e.g. police and fire brigade), and/or other persons (e.g. people/businesses living or working within the vicinity), can make representations at any time until September 13 2021.

MOREDON AND WALCOT: Swindon Borough Council intends to appropriate land deemed to be public open space of 0.68 acres at Ventnor Close and 0.44 acres at Ashley Close for residential development. A plan showing the land to be appropriated can be Inspected, by appointment, at Property Assets, Swindon Borough Council, Civic Offices, Euclid Street, Swindon SN1 2JH. Any objections to this appropriation should be made in writing to the Head of Property Assets by September 1 2021.

COATE: The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust annual members' meeting will be held on Tuesday September 21 from 5pm to 7pm via Microsoft Teams.
