TRAFFIC is queueing on the A419 this morning due to a serious accident.
The road is closed northbound from the Dorcan junction at Wheatstone Road and southbound from the junction with the A420
A diversion is in place via Coate and Walcot.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We ask that motorists please avoid this area if possible and find and alternative route.”
Update:
Officers have reopened one lane of the southbound carriageway, with traffic moving slowly.
The spokesperson added: "Please not there is no access to Swindon via junction 15 of the M4, please use junction 16.
"Any witnesses to the incident are urged to contact us by calling 101 and quoting log number 67."
2.25pm: The road has now been reopened.
