Stroke survivors can now attend exercise classes on Friday afternoons at the Central Community Centre.
Donna Tidmarsh will help people with neurological damage to improve their mobility, strength and ability to carry out day-to-day tasks.
She said: "It will be a friendly environment where people can meet others.
"I want to provide support for stroke survivors which I don't think is available yet in the community."
Donna will teach clients to get off the floor if they fall and will provide broomsticks for arm movement exercises.
She used to work as a specialist exercise instructor for Swindon Borough Council and has helped stroke survivors and people with hip and knee replacements.
Sessions run from 2.30-3.30pm on Fridays and cost £6.
