The Brunel Health Group is a network of independent practices working together.
Between them, they provide primary care services at 19 local surgeries for a population of 150,000 patients in Swindon and Shrivenham.
The group began working closely together in 2018 to help support the health and wellbeing of their patients.
Brunel Health Group’s Covid vaccination programme is their largest project to date, but its overarching objective is to continually improve patient healthcare.
The group aims to offer patients appointments with the professional who is best placed to treat or advise on their particular medical condition.
In order to expand the range of services on offer, the group has taken on a number of different healthcare professionals other than GPs and nurses.
These include paramedics, pharmacy technicians, clinical pharmacists, physiotherapists, health and wellbeing advisors and mental health nurses.
The group is made up of 13 independent surgeries working together, to improve patient healthcare across 19 locations in the Swindon and Shrivenham areas.
These are Ashington House Surgery, Carfax Medical Centre, Elm Tree Surgery, Eldene Surgery, Kingswood Surgery, North Swindon Practice, Park Lane Practice, Phoenix Surgery, Ridge Green Medical Practice, Ridgeway View Family Practice, Sparcells Surgery, Victoria Cross Surgery and Westrop Medical Practice.
