A SIGN alerting drivers to the closure of Mead Way has been vandalised.
The metal board looking onto The Meads roundabout has had pieces of paper sellotaped over it to change its message.
It now suggests that the £4 million invested into the scheme to 'improve' journey times was done to 'delay' them instead and the completion date for Summer 2021 has been altered to read 'Never'.
This comes after the project's deadline was delayed to at least November following a series of other setbacks.
The work should have taken 20 weeks but will now last 18 months.
