Popular comedian Mark Watson will be heading to Swindon with a show at the Arts Centre in October where locals will be able to see his latest standup efforts.
The show started life when Mark downloaded an app on his phone and took a “life expectancy test”. The app decreed he could expect to reach the grand old age of 78: in other words, he’s just over halfway to, as it were, the finish line.
Seeing it written down so starkly got Mark thinking - what should we be doing with our time on earth, and how can we do it better?
In ‘This Can’t be It’, Mark wrestles with some of the fundamental questions of life, with unusually high levels of benign audience involvement and the gag rate of an already fast-talking comedian who’s been imprisoned his house for more than a year.
