With less than a month until Halloween, it's officially time to get into the spooky spirit and go pumpkin picking.

Whether you're wanting them to do some creepy carving or you're just looking for an Instagrammable day out, these are the best patches in Wiltshire.

Picking your own pumpkins is a fun activity for all ages especially as a Halloween day out with the family.

We've put together a list of some local farms offering Pick Your Own (PYO) along with other spootacular activities and events.

Pumpkin Patches in Wiltshire

Lotmead Farm

Where: Stratton Rd, Wanborough, Swindon SN4 0SN

Lotmead Farm opened its pumpkin fields on October 9.

Pumpkin pickers can go to their fields every day from 9am until 5pm until they run out.

There's no booking required and their small animal enclosure and nature trail are open.

Roves Farm

Where: Roves Farm & Visitor Centre, Sevenhampton, Swindon SN6 7QG

There's a lot more than just pumpkin picking at Roves Farm.

Once you've picked your pumpkin, you can carve a creepy design in their barn which saves you the clean up afterwards. 

They've also got a Fancy Dress competition with prizes for the best Halloween costumes.

A Parsons & Son Farming/Pumpkin Picking Patch

Where: Upper Farm, Salisbury SP4 8HR

The family-run farm opened its pumpkin patches to the public at the weekend. 

Tickets for Parsons Picking Patch need to be booked before you go and they allow for 1 hour picking sessions to help maintain social distancing.

Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm

Where: Amesbury Rd, Cholderton, Salisbury SP4 0EW

Cholderton is tranforming into a SCARE breeds farm this Halloween and Half Term. 

The farm is hosting an interactive spooky trail as well as Halloween Family Party on October 30 which will be DJed by Disco Dion.
