Wiltshire Police officers will visit the Brunel Centre on Wednesday to raise awareness of hate crimes for National Hate Crime Awareness Week.
Hate crime officers will raise awareness of what a hate crime is and how to report one. They will listen to the public's concerns and offer advice from 10am to 3pm.
A hate crime is a criminal offence that the victim or any other person considers happened because of their race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.
Sergeant Tom Ellerby from the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Team said: "Any report of hate crime is treated seriously and we take steps to manage any risks to vulnerable people and communities.
"It is important that incidents are reported by the injured party or by witnesses."
Data from the Home Office showed that the number of racial hate crimes recorded by Wiltshire Police had increased by 33 per cent from 2015-16 to 2019-2020.
