POLICE have cordoned off a dental practice in Freshbrook after a weapon was found.
Two officers are investigating the space outside Aurora Dental and Implant Clinic in the village's centre.
A police car is parked nearby. Shoppers and bystanders are carrying on with their day as normal.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “Earlier today, we were called to Freshbrook Village Centre, in Swindon, due to an air pistol being located.
“Officers are currently at the scene, carrying out enquiries.
“We want to reassure the local community that there is no threat to the wider public.”
