MOREDON: Jake Morrish, of Elborough Road, received an 18-week prison sentence which has been suspended for 18 months after pleading guilty to several thefts over the summer.

The 26-year-old stole bottles of Koppenberg cider worth £40 from Morrisons on July 19, and took meat and alcohol worth £70.59 from the Coop on July 18, stole meat and cheese worth £69 from the Coop on July 11, took £80 of meat from the Coop on April 27, as well as another £40 of Koppenberg from Morrisons on July 21 plus children’s clothing worth £171 from Next on August 15.

He received a community order with rehab activity requirements and must pay £35 in court costs plus £128 to victim services.

RODBOURNE: Kevin McDonald, of Groves Street, received fines totalling £850 after pleading guilty to theft and threatening behaviour.

The 32-year-old stole a television from a man on October 1 2020 and behaved in a distressing or abusive way towards the same victim on that day.

He must pay £85 in court costs plus £185 to victim services.

Separately, he received a £1,000 fine for breaching a community order given to him on July 11 2019.

PINEHURST: Robin Carter, of Poplar Avenue, received a £600 fine for breaching a community order given to him on September 27, 2019.

The 27-year-old must pay the money instead of carrying out the unpaid work previously assigned to him. The original offence involved engaging in sexual activity with a woman without her consent.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Richard Pullen, of Station Road, received a £50 fine after pleading guilty to breaching a restraining order.

The 46-year-old sent emails and contacted a woman between August 15 and 16 2021 despite being prohibited from doing so on September 8 2020.

He received a community order with a rehab activity requirement and must pay £95 to victim services.

WROUGHTON: Steven Hamer, of Churchill Road, received a £900 fine for drink driving and another £600 fine for driving without due care and attention.

The 30-year-old had 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of his breath while travelling in a Land Rover Discovery along Mill Lane on May 21 2020.

He initially pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of the offence. He lost his driving licence for 40 months and must pay £300 in court costs plus £150 to victim services.

PENHILL: Michael Barbieri, of Penhill Drive, received fines of £750 for driving without due care and attention and failing to give his details after an accident.

The 41-year-old drove a VW along Rodbourne Road on February 28 and damage was caused to another vehicle but he failed to give his name and address and identification marks of the vehicle.

He received seven points on his driving licence and must pay £85 in court costs plus £75 to victim services.

WESTLEA: Tyler Bingham, of Alvestone Close, has been banned from the roads for 12 months after driving a stolen vehicle dangerously while also not having a valid licence or insurance.

The 24-year-old drove an Alfa Romeo along Faringdon Road on August 4.

He must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and pay £85 in costs plus £95 to victim services.

WALCOT: Stuart Trinder, of Albany Close, received a restraining order against him after damaging a woman’s property.

The 26-year-old caused £200 in damage on May 31 and is now banned from contacting the property’s owner until August 19 2022.

He received a £40 fine and must pay £25 in court costs as well as £34 to victim services.

PINEHURST: Maciej Pertek, of Beech Avenue, received a £580 fine and a 22-month ban from the roads after drink driving.

The 37-year-old drove a Toyota along Beech Avenue on November 23 2019 while having 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of his breath.

He changed his not guilty plea to guilty. Pertek must pay £200 in court costs plus £58 to victim services.
