The stars of this year's panto at the Wyvern Theatre got together to sharpen their axe throwing skills this week.
The Jack and the Beanstalk panto stars met for the first time at a press event at Boom Battle Bar and it wasn't long until they were grabbing axes by the handle and launching them at targets.
Louie Spence was first up and the Spirit of the Beans absolutely nailed his underarm throw, finishing with a flourish and a pirouette

He was followed shortly be hero of the story Jack, played by Zack Guest, who proved he absolutely has what it takes to throw an axe.

Rebecca Jardine's Jill couldn't get the axe to stick in the target but she proved you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of her with this effort

Finally we were treated to the rare sight of a panto dame in full get-up launching an axe at a circular piece of wood. Magic
