MORE than 160 households in Swindon have applied for funding which will pay for free energy efficiency improvements to their home.
Swindon Borough Council is encouraging people to apply for the money if they meet certain requirements.
The applicant's household income must be under £30,000 a year and they must live in a home with a low energy performance rating - i.e, an EPC of D, E, F or G.
A council spokesman said: "Why not submit your application and find out if you could benefit from up to £10,000 of free energy efficiency improvements for your home? To find out more, visit https://swindonwiltshire-lad-applications.com
"Please make sure that once you have completed your application form, you create an account and submit your supporting evidence as part of the application process.
"Check out the website www.swindon.gov.uk/bethechange to find out what else you can do to cut your energy use and reduce your impact on the environment."
