TOWN CENTRE: BBB Nine Ltd has applied to Swindon Borough Council to vary the premises licence for Boom Battle Bar in Regent Circus.

This variation is to permit the provision of indoor sporting events, playing of recorded music, and sale of alcohol from 11pm to 2am on Thursday to Sunday and 11pm to 3am on Fridays and Saturdays.

The leisure complex owners want to be able to play between 11pm and midnight Monday to Sunday and provide late night refreshment from 11pm to 2am Sunday to Thursday and 11pm to 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, on such conditions and such other times as set out in the application.

The full application may be inspected at the Offices of the Licensing Authority, Swindon Borough Council, Watt Tyler West Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

It is an offence. knowingly or recklessly. to make a false statement in connection with an application the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for making a false statement is a level 5 fine on the standard scale.

SWINDON: Park Garage Group PLC has applied for a premises licence for the South Marston, Rodbourne and Kingshill service stations.

The licence would allow the opening hours and off-sale of alcohol 24/7 and allow for late night refreshments from 11pm to 5am seven days a week. Any person wishing to submit relevant representations to this application must give notice in writing to the address above by November 30 2021.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Broadtown Brewery Ltd on Broad Town Road is applying for a licence.

It would update the plan to include a new chiller and the new hop garden area, add regulated entertainment at the hop garden, allow the playing of live and recorded music from 9am to 11pm ever day, extend the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises, too include these permissions for the hop gardens and chiller from 9am to 11pm every day.

The order would extend permissions by two hours from 9am to 11am in the brewery and taproom, allow for non-standard timing on new year, and allow live music, recored music, late night refreshment and the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 11pm on New Year's Eve to 1am on New Year's Day.

WROUGHTON: Parts of Hay Lane and Wharf Road which currently have a 50mph speed limit will now be 40mph.

This new limit will be on the B4005 from the access road to the garden centre to the new roundabout junction with Wharf Road and Wichel Way, and from the junction with Hay Lane to the south of the residential property known as The Wharf.

Wharf Road from the new roundabout junction with the B4005 Hay Lane and Wichel Way to west of Costow Farm Cottages will now be 40mph.

A new 40mph limit will be added to the circulatory of the new roundabout junction of Hay Lane and Wharf Road and on Wichel Way for a distance of 70 metres from the roundabout.

WROUGHTON: The 7.5t weight restriction will be amended on Hay Lane, Salthrop Farm Lane and Elcombe by moving it from the junction with the B4005 Wharf Road to the new priority junction with the B4005 Hay Lane as part of the Wichelstowe Southern Access Scheme.

STRATTON ST MARGARET: A similar weight restriction on Ermin Street will start from the new junction with the A4312 Oxford Road as part of the White Hart Junction Improvement Scheme.
