Icy roads caused four drivers to crash in a single morning in Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade, police have revealed.
The force posted on social media yesterday morning urging people to be careful as an overnight cold snap had left many roads in and around Swindon, Wootton Bassett and Cricklade perilous.
The public plea said: "Please be aware the roads are still very icy, we are attending our fourth RTC of the morning.
"Thankfully all occupants of all the vehicles have been uninjured."
