Two Swindon establishments have been handed average food hygiene ratings, according to the Food Standards Agency website.
Wroughton pub The Iron Horse was handed a three-out-of-five rating after an assessment on January 22.
The pub’s website says: “We offer a traditional pub menu with lots of classic favourites at value for money prices, all freshly prepared.”
PiriCo, a restaurant on Cricklade Road in Gorse Hill, was also given a score of three on January 21. The takeaway serves a range of burgers, chicken and desserts.
A three rating means that the hygiene standards are generally satisfactory.
Ratings are a “snapshot” of food hygiene standards found at the time of inspection.
