Police have moved quickly to charge a Swindon man for drug trafficking less than a day after his arrest. 

43-year-old Samual Ackah, of no fixed address, was arrested at an address in West Swindon yesterday.

After spending the night at the station he has now been charged with a number of offences involving two different Class A drugs.

The full list of charges includes possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin and possession of criminal property.

Ackah appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court this morning and indicated no plea.

He has been remanded in custody to next appear at Swindon Crown Court on March 4.
