THIS year mark the 60th since Broadleas House first opened its grounds to the public under the National Garden Scheme.
And in that time it has managed to raise almost £27,000 for good causes.
It used to be owned by Lady Anne Cowdray, who bought it after the Second World War and lavished a huge amount of care on it. She died in 2009 and the current owners Richard and Karin Cardiff have added their own touches as well as continuing the tradition of opening as part of the NGS.
The six-acre site near Devizes, which features a bee garden, is open again on Sunday between 2pm and 5.30pm for Macmillan. Admission is £7 for adults. Visit ngs.org.uk for more details.
