The organisers of the heavily-called-for new town centre market at Wharf Green have hailed it a success after only its opening week.
The new shopping attraction, made up of a number of stalls from local business owners and some traders from further afield, opened on Thursday, April 14 for Swindon shoppers to enjoy.
On April 16, over the Easter bank holiday weekend, many more shoppers were able to puruse the hand-made treats, trinkets and goods on offer, with the feedback from both stall owners and shoppers being overwhelmingly positive.

inSwindon BID’s Director Anita Bellinger said: “inSwindon has worked hard to ensure the return of the market in Wharf Green and we are delighted that it has received a great response.
