A child riding a bike was hit by a car opposite a pub in Blunsdon just off Thamesdown Drive yesterday afternoon.
The 12-year-old sustained minor injuries in the crash on Lady Lane just after 3.30pm yesterday outside the Blunsdon Arms pub.
Police rushed to the scene but no arrests were made.
The Thamesdown Drive junction with Elstree Way and Lady Lane has been labelled "dangerous" by some residents.
The child's injuries did not require hospital treatment.
