After a year of closure following a flood and a fire, a local printing service has finally reopened its doors to customers.

Minuteman Press in Old Town was forced to close following a flood in July last year which damaged their digital presses.

Then months later, on 16 October, the owner of the press got a call that the building of the press was on fire, forcing them to close for customers.

Even though they have been able to take online orders for the past year, they are now able to open their physical store on Newport Street again.

They announced on their Facebook page on Sunday that they are now able to open again as usual.

"We are very excited to announce that after almost a year of our shop being closed due to flood and subsequent fire, we will be getting our new digital press delivered tomorrow and hope to be fully up and running in the next couple of weeks!

"I would like to personally thank all of our customers who were able to stick with us throughout this time, without you we may not have been able to bounce back."

Customers were ecstatic for the owners about the news and are excited for them to open again.
