A TECH firm based near Swindon has won a major international award for getting a client’s message to potential new customers.
North Wiltshire digital marketing business Infinity Nation in Brinkworth worked with Strykk, which produces non-alcoholic spirits and ready-mixed cocktails, to promote its Movember campaign using pay-per-click advertising.
In an international competition hosted by Europe’s biggest marketing website, The Drum, Infinity Nation took home the prize for Most Effective Use of Paid Search.
Last autumn Strykk charged the Infinity Nation team with promoting its Man Date campaign supporting Movember.
The campaign invited customers visiting Strykk’s website to make a financial donation to Movember with a trip for two to the legendary Pikes hotel in Ibiza up for grabs
The annual event raises awareness of men’s health issues like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide by encouraging people to gather donations by growing moustaches and beards.
To drive potential donors and customers to the website, data experts at Infinity Nation identified the audiences most likely to positively respond to the Strykk brand and the platforms and influencers most likely to get the booze company's message in front of those potential customers.
The team crunched publicly-available data and analysed the habits of Strykk’s own web customers to ensure the best results for the drinks brand’s budget.
CEO and founder Alex Carlton was so impressed with the results that he nominated the campaign for The Drum Awards in the Search category.
And Infinity Nation saw off competition from tech firms around the globe to take home the Pay Per Click Most Effective Use of Paid Search trophy.
The firm's CEO and founder Al Keck said: “I am very proud of the Infinity Nation team to have won a prestigious Drum Award for search.
“This is fantastic validation from the industry and highly esteemed judges of the brilliant work and results we are delivering for clients.
“I look forward to continuing to evolve our offering and performance in collaboration with our brilliant team.”
A Movember Foundation spokesman added: "Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.
"We report on every initiative so you can see the impact of your donations. We exist to help men live happier, healthier, longer lives
